The capital of Kyrgyzstan Bishkek is located in the Chui valley at the foot of the Kirghiz Range. The main ridge rises to 4000-4500 meters above sea level. Here you can see wide variety of natural landscapes. There are arid sandy canyons and evergreen spruce forests, as well as lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, alpine meadows and others.
We offer you a program that includes two modules. With a minimum of approach roads you can see two absolutely different areas. First - the amazing Komorchek canyons or Eolian rocks. Canyons occupy the eastern and quite a vast territory of Kyrgyz Ala-Too. They are distinguished by their bright red color. Kyrgyz red-colored complex of sedimentary rocks is made predominantly of clays, siltstones and sandstones. Color is caused by oxides of iron. These rocks are formed under the conditions of a dry climate and can be seen in some areas of Kyrgyzstan. Here, between Komorchek and Kyzylsu rivers nature has transformed mountains into a work of art. Dry, with specific types of drought-resistant vegetation, canyons seem to be an accumulation of fantastic dilapidated castles, ancient temples, modern skyscrapers, columns and spires. The second part of the journey begins in the gorges of great beauty with birch trees and spruce forests. You will pass two high mountain saddles, where you will see the magnificent panorama of the Kirghiz Ala-Too Mountains. Also, you will stop for the night on the bank of a mountain lake, walk on a real glacier and swim in the waterfall.
Between these hiking you will take a city tour in the modern capital of Kyrgyzstan. Experienced guide will show you all the main attractions, including the Asian market and gift shops. Also, you will know about the history of Kyrgyzstan and will visit the historical complex X-XI century Burana Tower.

After breakfast we will go up the Kok-Jar River. The trail passes through the picturesque gorge, sometimes you have to jump or wade a small river. A few hours later we leave the canyon to the alpine meadows. From here we will go by car to Bishkek city. Overnight at the hotel.

First we will visit famous historical complex of the X-XI century - Burana with a watchtower. Inspection of the complex takes 1-2 hours. Then we continue our way to another valley of the Kirghiz Range - Shamsi. Soon we leave our car and walking along the mountain river through the fir forest. After lunch, we come to the tent camp site in the spruce forest on the banks of the river.

The trail goes up steeply to the pass. From here you will see a unique panorama of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too Mountains. After that we will have another small pass and a long descent to the lake. Here we will fix our tents.

Today we will go to the glaciers, where the river Kol-Tor is begins. Descent the same way. You can have a rest in the camp on this day.
